Description
Chronic pain is among the most common and difficult to treat conditions in the United States and around the world. Managing pain can be even more challenging in cases where people with pain have long histories of chronic stress or trauma, where there may be a stronger need for behavioral or psychological approaches alongside medical intervention. In this talk, attendees will learn about the current best practices in management of chronic pain as well as exciting new areas of pain management using behavioral treatments focused on stress, fear and negative emotions.
